The Avenue West Cobb Hosts 12th Annual “Shop with a Mustang” Event

Marietta, GA – The Avenue West Cobb proudly hosted the 12th Annual Shop with a Mustang event on December 17, bringing together students, educators, and the community for a meaningful holiday tradition.

Organized by Kennesaw Mountain High School, the program raises funds each year—totaling more than $30,000—to provide underprivileged children from local feeder schools with a special holiday shopping experience. As part of the school’s character education program, high school students volunteer their time to support fundraising efforts alongside local businesses and community organizations.

This year, approximately 240 children, joined by more than 600 high school students and faculty, participated in the event. Guests arrived by bus and spent the morning shopping throughout the center, enjoying live musical and choral performances along the way. Retailers also offered exclusive discounts to help maximize each student’s spending power.

In just three hours, participants shopped for clothing, gifts, and essentials, creating a memorable holiday experience while spending more than $30,000 to benefit local children.

The annual event continues to highlight The Avenue West Cobb’s commitment to community engagement and giving back during the holiday season.
