The Avenue Viera Launches 2021 with Super Hero Fun Run and Bridal Expo

Melbourne, FL – The Avenue Viera kicked off 2021 with exciting community events for all ages. In January, the Center partnered with Friends of the Children of Brevard to host a Super Hero Fun Run, a family-friendly 5K supporting the local Guardian Ad Litem program and raising over $2,000 for children in need. The event featured a rolling start, a mascot contest, a socially distanced one-mile fun run for kids, and a virtual option for at-home participants, drawing more than 500 runners. In February, The Avenue Viera’s Central Park came alive for the 3rd Annual A Walk in the Park Bridal Expo, hosted by Nicole Maree Bridal. The socially distanced event showcased Brevard County’s top wedding vendors, a runway fashion show, contests with prizes including a free honeymoon, and entertainment from local DJs, providing an unforgettable experience for brides, families, and the community.
