Dean Shauger

Since joining Poag Shopping Centers’ predecessor in 2004, Dean has worked to foster a collaborative culture across Poag’s extensive portfolio of properties nationwide.

Dean has been serving as the Senior Vice President, Management and Marketing for over 12 years, first at Poag & McEwen and now at Poag. In this role, Dean oversees 5.2 million square feet of retail and office space and leads the company’s efforts in corporate facility management, innovative marketing strategies, and the development of specialty income programs.

With more than 34 years of experience in the retail industry, Dean brings deep operational and management expertise to Poag.  Prior to joining the company, he spent an extensive tenure with Kravco, and most notably managed King of Prussia, the second largest shopping center in the United States, for more than 11 years. Dean’s background also includes high‑rise office management; during his time with Liberty Property Trust, he managed the 58‑story, LEED‑certified Comcast Center in Philadelphia.

A native of Pennsylvania, Dean earned his bachelor’s degree from Penn State University.
