David Selberg

David Selberg serves as Executive Vice President – Chief Financial Officer at Poag Shopping Centers, a position that he has held since its formation in 2014. David previously served as Chief Financial Officer of Poag & McEwen Shopping Centers from 2008 to 2014. In his role, David advises the company on financial affairs, acquisitions, strategic planning, capital formation, risk management, while also maintaining key relationships with bankers and joint venture partners. In addition, David oversees the accounting, human resources and information technology functions of the company.

Since joining Poag, David has focused on building value and maintaining financial stability for the organization. His areas of expertise include finance and acquisitions, supported by more then 28 years of professional experience. David began his career as a financial analyst with Promus Companies in Memphis, Tennessee and has since held leadership roles including Vice President and Treasurer for Resort Quest International and Chief Financial Officer at Global Material Services.

David serves on the Board of Directors and is the Finance Chairman for Gestalt Community Schools. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville and a Masters of Business Administration from Vanderbilt University.

Born in Peru, Indiana, David now lives in Germantown, Tennessee with his wife and their three children.
