Alamo Drafthouse Cinema Opens at LaCenterra at Cinco Ranch

Katy, TX – Movie lovers in the Houston area have a new destination for dining, drinks, and cinema. Alamo Drafthouse Cinema – LaCenterra officially opens its doors on Friday, July 20, 2018, bringing a state-of-the-art eight-screen dine-in theater to the heart of LaCenterra at Cinco Ranch. Staff preview days began on July 2, with discounted training screenings ahead of the Grand Opening, which will feature the release of MAMMA MIA! – HERE WE GO AGAIN and THE EQUALIZER 2.

The new theater joins LaCenterra’s thriving mix of shopping, dining, and entertainment offerings, enhancing the center’s position as a premier Dine-Shop-Play-Live-Work destination in Katy. Guests will enjoy luxurious theater recliners, 4K digital projection, surround sound, and a curated pre-show experience of rare and often hilarious clips tailored to each film.

An adjacent bar and lounge with outdoor patio seating offers 46 craft beers on tap, handcrafted cocktails, and a selection of popular and hard-to-find American whiskeys. Full in-theater dining service allows guests to enjoy freshly prepared meals during the movie.
